Kin/Plural Memory thrills over skills
You're the hero who beat SBURB, you helped defeat Discord, saved a planet, or some other badass thing, isn't that great? well now you're in some disabled body with a blurry memory that can't even peel an orange. Being otherkin or a fictive with a past as an important character or just some cool non human creature like a mole that can tunnel with ease or dog that has spectacular hearing, is a fascinating and sometimes frustrating mix of cool memories and knowledge of what was, but not clear enough memories to draw much upon those skills. For us a big example of this is in me Sakuya, the new fronter, I am far from the most powerful in this brain, just as mortal to wounds as any human, and no spells yet, but it's so infuriating to go from having a photographic memory to regularly checking the fridge for reminders, going from being a great chef with a deep understanding of nutrition, food science and all sorts of delicious recipes to make, now doing the simplest cooking...
